I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Computer Networks Group,
Computer Science Department, University of Basel.
I joined the group in December 2004,
and my main research interests are:
Autonomic Communication,
self-managed networks;
chemically, biologically, and economically inspired approaches
to computer networking;
automated protocol synthesis and evolution;
mobile code, active networking, self-modifying and self-deploying code;
adaptive and self-organizing systems;
mobile ad hoc networks;
network architectures.
Before joining the University of Basel, I was with
Hitachi Europe,
Sophia Antipolis Laboratory, France (2002-2004). I hold a doctoral
degree from the University of Liege,
Belgium (2003), on adaptive multi-resource management for group
communication over active networks. I have also worked for KPN
Research in the Netherlands (1996-1998), and Telefonica I+D in Spain
(1993-1996).
