My main
research interest is in mobile code and how it transforms the way
of running computers and networks. The areas I'm working on are: Active
networks, ad hoc networks, Internet architecture, formal methods and security.
Before joining the University of Basel in October 2002 I was
a researcher and teacher for more than a dozen years at the Universities
of Uppsala, Zurich and Geneva as well as ICSI in Berkeley.
