I studied computer science at the University of Applied Sciences in Brugg -Windisch and graduated in 1991 with my diploma work on "Speech Recognition with Neuronal Networks". I could gain practical experience in the industry in unix administration, computer networks and internet technologies. I studied math, philosophy and computer science at the University of Basel and graduated in 2002 with my work on "Mahler Measures, Dominating Eigenvalues and Abstract Trees". In 2007, I finished my PhD with "Syndicate - Individual Service Composition in the Web-Age". Currently I work as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Basel. My research interests include e-learning and web technologies.
